34'Dinner

“So when are you two getting married?” “Haha… oh, Aunt Carol.” And you washed the irritation down with a sip of wine.

61'Texts

They canceled on you for the third time. You replied “K.” With a period. You were not okay.

89'Shower

The perfect comeback hit you. Goal disallowed: it showed up 6 hours late.

Not one of those was about being slow.
Every one was about being late.

Your season · 4 rounds

5 minutes a day.
4 weeks.

You don’t need to be consistent. You need to come back. Miss a day and nothing resets: the next sheet is your comeback.

Week 1

Notice

Every day, you replay on paper a conversation that already happened. Even a small one.

You vs. what already happened
Week 2

Rehearse first

You picture tomorrow’s conversation and say your line out loud 3 times.

You vs. tomorrow
Week 3

Live

You use one tool in a real conversation. Then you do its Replay.

You vs. the moment
Week 4

The hard stuff

The no and the ask you’ve been avoiding. This week, they come out.

You vs. what you avoided

The comeback shows up hours later. Then minutes. Then on time.

Reading your mind

What you’re
thinking right now.

Thought 1“That’s just how I am. I’ve always been like this.”

Nope. That’s how you react. A reaction is learned… and it can be trained. That’s exactly where the book starts.

Thought 2“I’m just not good at speaking up.”

Nobody is, until they practice. The person who nails it in the meeting wasn’t born that way. They’d already rehearsed.

Thought 3“They’re the ones who push my buttons.”

Sure. And as long as your reaction depends on what they do, they’re the one in control.

Thought 4“I’ll read it and forget it.”

That’s why it isn’t just for reading: it’s 5 minutes a day of written Replays. What you rehearse sticks.

Your ticket

Your next argument
is already rehearsed.

Questions

Before you
talk yourself out of it.

What if it doesn’t work for me?

You have 7 days to try it. Do the practice: if you put in your 5 minutes a day and don’t notice any change, email us at hello@thehabitfix.com within those 7 days and we’ll refund you.

How do I pay?

With a debit or credit card, or with Apple Pay or Google Pay if your device supports it. Payment happens on a secure checkout page: we never see your card details. Prices are in US dollars; if you pay in another currency, your bank converts it.

Is this a physical book?

No. It’s digital: you get your files as PDFs by email. The Book and 100 Barks are designed to read comfortably on your phone; the Bark Log comes in US Letter size for printing (on A4, just choose “fit to page”). The wallpapers come as images for your phone.

When do I get it?

Right after your payment goes through, everything lands in your inbox. If you don’t see the email, check spam or promotions, or write to hello@thehabitfix.com.

How much time do I need?

Read the Book at your own pace, in short chapters. The practice is 5 minutes a day for 4 weeks, with one sheet from the Bark Log. Open 100 Barks whenever you need it.

Does it work if I go blank? What if I blow up?

Yes. The Book is organized by reaction: the quiz tells you which one is yours, and every tool comes with how to use it for all 4. If you go blank, you train how to buy time without anyone noticing. If you blow up, what to do in the 2 seconds before your voice goes up. If you go quiet or hold a grudge, how to say it on time and calmly.

Do I need a printer?

It helps, but you don’t need one. Print one week at a time anywhere, or copy the sheet into a notebook: it counts just the same.

Will it teach me to win every argument?

No. Speaking up isn’t about winning or humiliating anyone. It’s about saying what you think, clearly, briefly and calmly, when it matters, and walking away from the conversation without selling yourself out.

Is this therapy?

No. It’s educational practice material. If what you’re dealing with isn’t arguments but constant insults, threats, control or physical violence, your safety comes first: reach out for professional help. In the US or Canada, call 911 in an emergency, or call or text 988 any time. In the UK, call 999 or Samaritans at 116 123. In Australia, call 000 or Lifeline at 13 11 14.

Let me finish.

Next time
it won’t be in the shower.

It’ll be face to face. In the moment. Calm. With the words that today show up two hours too late.
